Meals Made Easy

RoastDinner_468x332 I do all the cooking. I mean, if I’m at home and someone needs popcorn or cereal poured, its all me. Amy tried cooking once and she managed to set an egg on fire boiling it, so I do all the cooking. I’m usually struggling for ways to make dinner for the four of us that would be eaten by all. Its tough with two under five year olds in the house and something that I’m only successful at maybe half the time. Until I discovered E Mealz.

E-MEALZ Easy Meals for Busy and Frugal Families makes things a snap. “But mcangeli, how can that be?” You ask. Easy. E-mealz knows whats coming up for sale at your favorite store (wal-mart, aldi’s, publix, kroger, ralphs and other stores) and creates a dinner menu for 7 days based on the sale items. You not only get good meals, but you *SAVE* money as well. They also have low-fat menus available as well! Can’t beat that with a stick.

The kicker? Its only $15 for three months (use the Coupon word DAVE and save on top of that!). So, here’s the scoop, for $1.25 a week, you get a 7 night meal plan (with a main course and sides) thats built around the sales of the week. The Publix Plan has been a good thing for us as I now have a good list for food shopping and know what we’re having every night! Try it for three months. I bet you’ll eat better and save some money too!

Game in 12 Languages!

Online gaming has grown exponentially with the advent of the net and next to the Adult industry, its one of the biggest money makers online. RPGs, MUDs and even card and dice games are taking the world by storm and the proof of that can be seen by the fact that Backgammon Masters Software Now Available in Twelve Languages Including Chinese. Not only that, but they have plans for Italian and Russian in the near future making it a full 14 languages online.

The fact that backgammon masters has 12 languages online opens the world of play to thousands of people you might not have had the chance to play otherwise. I’ve played scrabble online before, but that was pretty much limited to english. With the suite of languages offered at backgammon masters, I could play people from all over the world and I wouldn’t know it unless they told me. That in itself is cool.

They boast an amazing community base of players from all over the world participating in the most popular games including Poker, Backgammon, Perudo and BlackJack and even offer live support in the language of your choice as well. Thats something that not many (if any) other game sites offer. If you have the urge play cards with someone around the world, I suggest you check out backgammon masters. Who knows, you might bump in to me there

Drought Measures

So I’ve told you before that we’re under a drought here in Georgia. Apparently, there’s less than 4 months supply of drinking water in the largest lake in the metro area which isn’t a good thing. Things have gotten to a point that the state is considering Drastic Measures the likes of which few Metro cities have ever seen.

Part of this stems from the Corps of Engineer’s releasing soooooo much water every day to benefit some fresh water mussel in Florida. If you ask me (and most atlantans) thats crap. They need to stop releasing the water and keep it here. There’s also a battle over the water from Lake Allatoona (which is right around the corner). A federal Judge in Alabama ordered the Corp to release so much water from that lake so that Alabama had water. Which again, is Crap.

Neal Boortz thinks that Governor Perdue should Take the GA national Guard in and take over Buford Dam on lake lanier and not let any more water out to Fla. I don’t know if he should go quite that far as that could be seen as an act of war but something does need to be done. We need to keep our water in Georgia, its not like Alabama is the garden of life is it?
